Mud Sweat n’ Gears Cup U14 Giant Slalom Race for Genesee Council

Registration: There will be NO in person Registration. Registration is through www.adminskiracing.com only. The race deadline on www.adminskiracing.com will not be extended and no late entries allowed.
Athlete & Coach Health Screening: Health Screening must be completed prior to arriving at the venue through www.adminskiracing.com. The screening will be sent out at approximately 11:00 PM on Thursday evening. The screening needs to be completed within 24 hours of receiving it. Daily screening is to be provided by each Club by 7:45 AM on the day of the race. It is to be emailed to [email protected]. Any missing or incomplete screenings will result in the athlete not being allowed to race.
Spectators: There will be a maximum of two parents/spectators per athlete, in the case of multiple athletes, two parents/spectators per family of racers. Additional spectators can attend be purchasing a Lift Ticket using the link below. Please honor this, as we are not charging you to be on our hill.
Parking: Please park in the upper parking lot, where the race hut is located. Please leave the lower parking lot for the membership.
Athlete/Coach/Parent lodging: Athletes and coaches will be asked to use the tent outside the race hut during the duration of the day. We ask that parents do their best to stay out of the tent, unless in need to provide quick assistance to their racer. Parents are asked to stay in their car or outside on the hill (lawn chairs are acceptable in parking lot). Parents may only go into the main lodge to use the restrooms and must always remain masked inside of the facility.
Race Bibs & Tickets: One coach per club will be responsible for picking up the race bibs and lift tickets the morning of the event in the race hut at the time noted on the schedule. If an athlete is a no show, the bib and lift ticket must be returned to the race hut.
Coach Tickets: All Coaches must register on www.adminskiracing.com to receive a lift ticket. Lift tickets will be provided to the Coach who picks up the bibs in the morning.
Parents Lift Tickets: Parents can purchase lift tickets at www.adminskiracing.com prior to the event. Tickets can be picked up in the race hut after 8:30 AM.
Start Lists/Race Results/Notification Board: Start List, Race Results, and Notification Board will be posted on www.live-timing.com. There will be no Start List handed out or Scoresheet at this event.
Team Captains Meeting: The meeting will be held via Zoom. An email will be sent to all coaches who have registered on www.adminskiracing.com with the link. The meeting will take place at 5:00 PM on Friday, January 22nd.
Inspections: See the Race Day Schedule below.
Race Venue: Glade, access by main lift and exit skier’s left. Raise your poles at mid-station or risk breaking them.
Start Order: U14 Girls will go first, by Club (Brantling, Hunt Hollow, Bristol)
U14 Boys go second, by Club (Brantling, Hunt Hollow, Bristol)
Second run order will still be girls before boys, but flipping Clubs (Bristol, Hunt Hollow, Brantling)

Protests: DSQs will be posted on www.live-timing.com. Protests must be filed within the time prescribed by USSA Rules.
Results and Awards: The award ceremony will be videotaped and posted on the HHRT Facebook page Hunt Hollow Race Team - Home | Facebook. Awards will be provided by the Council Representative to the respective Coaches either at the completion of the event or at the next event.
Safety: Please abide by all club rules regarding safe skiing and courtesy to members. Safety bars must be lowered when riding lifts. The North side of the mountain is a slow skiing area. Please be considerate of all skiers on the hill.
