BLUE MOUNTAIN U14 GS RACE on Razors Edge

 ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY.  NO IN-PERSON REGISTRATION.   NO LATE REGISTRATION.

This race is open to PARA East and Northeast U14 athletes.  

Blue Mountain Release must be E-Signed at the time of online registration.

Athletes may arrive at Summit or Valley.  All Blue Mountain lodges are open.  Please consider booting up at your personal vehicles if you prefer not to be indoors.  All guests should feel free to wear a mask or face convering if more comfortable doing so.

No athlete check-in is required on race day.  Team Captains will receive their respective teams’ bibs and RFID lift passes at Valley during the Team Captains Meeting on snow near the base of the Comet Quad lift.

Race Day Schedule

8:00am                            Brief Team Captain’s meeting – By Comet Quad Lift.  Team Captains will get Athlete Bibs & Rosters at this meeting.

8:00am                            Lifts Open

8:10am                            Inspection Begins

8:50am                            Entry to Course for Inspection ends

9:00am                            Course Inspection Closes

9:15am                            Forerunners Start then 1st run begins

9:30am                            Run 1 Starts     

            Reset with Second run beginning approximately 90 minutes after the end of the first run

2nd Run Inspection         30 minutes after finish of first run

2nd Run Forerunners      75 minutes after finish of first run

2^nd Run Start                    90 minutes after finish of first run      

 

Registration

ONLINE ONLY at www.adminskiracing.com   No in-person registration.  No late registrations accepted.  Cost includes athlete lift ticket and race fee.

Registration for this race closes 48 hours prior to event.

Lift Tickets

Racer Ticket included in race fee.  BMRA athletes receive passholder discount. Athlete lift tickets will be provided to team captains with race bibs.

Parent/Sibling Ticket must be purchased in advance at www.shopskibluemt.com.  Parent/sibling online purchases must be redeemed at self-service kiosks located at both Summit and Valley.  Online transaction receipt is required to redeem.  Smartphone barcode is acceptable.  Ticket price is demand based and may increase as date nears event.  PLEASE NOTE THAT DAILY TICKETS ARE CAPACITY CONTROLLED AND MAY SELL OUT.

NO WALKING SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED AT BLUE MOUNTAIN.

 Equipment

US Ski and Snowboard equipment regulations will be enforced.

 Team Captains Meeting

Coaches meeting will be held online via Zoom at 8 pm the night before the race. 

 Awards

First, Second, and Third places will be awarded for Males and Females. No award ceremony will be held.  Medalists may collect their awards at the Timing Shack 15 minutes after referee reports have been posted. 

COVID-19

COVID-19 is community spread and it is the responsibility of each guest to take precautions to protect themselves.  Blue Mountain Resort will comply with any CDC, Pennsylvania, county, or local guidelines that may be enacted.  If any guidelines are put in place, all Blue Mountain Resort guests will be required to comply with the guidelines.
