Race information and documents

All registered non-SWSC participants should pick up bibs and (if needed) lift passes in the west wing of the main base lodge on Saturday morning starting at 8am. Registered SWSC participants will receive bibs and swag from coaches during the program day and should not go to the base lodge on Saturday morning.

Late registration for all SWSC and non-SWSC participants will be available in the west wing of the main base lodge on Saturday morning starting at 8am. SWSC participants who register late need to do so right at 8am on Saturday or your skier will miss roll out with their group.

#Shred4Nate, now in its 8th year, is a dual panel non-scored ski race for ages U8 through Masters which raises funds and awareness around mental health in honor of SWSC athlete Nathan Carreira (2003-2018). Nathan was an accomplished alpine racer who took his own life in March 2018. At the time of his passing, a group of Nathan’s Stratton ski friends decided a race event would be the best way to celebrate his life. Funds raised from the event will go to the Nathan M. Carreira Endowment Fund for mental health and suicide prevention at the Stratton Community Foundation

The race takes place at the bottom of Stratton's legendary race trail, Franks Fall Line. Viewing area is at the bottom of the trail below the finish shack. This will be a dual panel with an approximate radius of 18m.

Timing of the race is below. This event does not run in bib order, so the race announcer will call bibs and names as skiers start and as they arrive at the finish. There will be a single-run timing display in the finish but no run times will be posted between runs 1 & 2 or after run 2. Official results will be available at awards.
