U14 GS - giant-slalom - (2/22)

Date: Sunday, February22, 2026 

Event: Southern Vermont Council U14 GS 

Location: South Bowl - Mount Snow Ski Area, West Dover, Vermont 

Trail not accessible by foot. Discounted lift tickets available for Parents of racers ($99 – limit 2 per family). Available at the Clock Tower. 

Registration 7:15am – Ski Club/MSTC Training Center, across from Clock Tower. Coaches will pick up bibs/tickets/information for athletes on 2nd floor of Ski Club/MSTC Training Center. 

• Open only to current USSA & VARA members 

• No athletes will be added to the start list on the morning of the event. 

• Only USSA & VARA approved coaches are allowed on the race trail. All coats should be run the same time as course maintenance. 

• Viewing of the race is best from the bottom of the race course which can be accessed by taking Exhibition and down Link. 

Entry Fee with lift ticket - $35. Must pre-register @ https://adminskiracing.com/  

Athlete Lift: Grand Summit Express – Please Note: The summit lifts can get very busy and is why we have a designated competitor’s entrance at the Grand Summit Express. Being late for inspection/start because of Blue Bird Express wait is not an acceptable excuse. Please use the Grand Summit Express.

MANDATORY Team Captain’s Meeting: Information will be sent out Saturday, 2.21.26 on the Whats App Chat. **This will help us move up start time for the race with the impending snowstorm.

Load Lifts/Inspection: 8:00am – Inspection closed 8:45am

Forerunners: 8:50am Second Run Inspection, TBD 

Awards: About 1 hour after the completion of the 2nd round. The Award Ceremony will occur at the Mount Snow Training Center/Ski Club (outside). 

Please be aware that there are paid parking for lots A, B and C. Lots D, E and Tiers are free. 

Slow skiing while not on the race course! USSA/VARA rules apply. A Vermont state law requires use of the safety bar. Failure to do so my result in a DSQ
