Dual Panel SL U10/12/14  No Eliminations

Registration opens: 8:30 (coaches get bibs and distribute)

Inspection opens: 9:00am

Forerunners: 9:40

Start: 9:45am

Bib order will be randomized within Gender/age groups. (Reminder***U10 boys and girls race together as one group) Each athlete will get 2 runs that are parallel but for your own time “qualifiers”. Even #’s on Red, Odd #’s Blue - then switch for run 2.  If we have an odd number of kids in a group unfortunately someone will have to race solo. 

Combined time from these runs will create a result which will be used to match up the head to head duals. DNF and DSQ’s will get matched to continue in the duals. 1st place will race 2nd, 3rd race 4th, 5th race 6th, etc. We will run them in reverse order with DNF/DSQ’s going first within each group. Each pair gets 2 runs swapping courses for the second run.

Combined times of these two runs will create another result which determines the second round of pairing. - Combined time from the second heat will be added to the first heat to create the next match up. - This will continue until we run out of time. - We will try to get as many heats as possible throughout the day. We will not START a heat after 2pm. I'm anticipating every athlete will definitely get six, hopefully eight runs. 

AWARDS>>> Overall results will be calculated by adding all head to head times throughout the day and dropping  your slowest time/DNF/DSQ. We will calculate 1 more than ½ the runs. So if we get 2 rounds of duel = 4 runs we will drop 1 and count 3. If we get 3 rounds of dual = 6 runs we will drop 2 and count 4 runs. The qualifying runs do not count towards the results

Top four of each age group.: U10's will race as one group - no division of boys and girls. U12 girls, U12 boys, U14 girls, & U14 boys
