Blue Mountain Resort would like to welcome you to a weekend of racing. The weekend will include Super G, Giant Slalom, and Slalom. All Championship event runs will be held on Razor’s Edge - Trail Map

SPECTATORS
Blue Mountain Resort has a NEW policy as of the 2025 season. NO WALKERS ALLOWED anywhere on the Ski Resort.
RACERS AND COACHES - Ski area rules and policies
- * Complimentary coaches’ passes are provided on a 4:1 athlete-to-coach ratio. Coaches must hold a current USSS Coaching License. To secure a complimentary lift pass, coaches must register on AdminSkiRacing.com for the PARA U16 State Championship event. Pick-up will be at race registration.
- Use Comet Quad at Valley Lodge Area (by Snow tubing – Skiers right)
- Do not warm up on slow skiing trails. (Paradise Trail)
- Lift Bars on the chair must be down.
- There are no coat carriers on the competition slope,
- Coaches may not move while competitors are on course.
- Parents, spectators, and non-US Ski and Snowboard members may not enter the race venue.
WEEKEND ATHLETE INFORMATION
- REGISTRATION will be in the summit Race Office - Friday at 7:30 am and Saturday at 7:15 am Your bib is used for the weekend!
SKI Specific GEAR
- USSA Specs for ski equipment will be enforced. Helmets are required.
SG: 183cm minimum length, 30m minimum radius
GS: no minimum length, 17m minimum radius
SL: 130cm minimum length, no minimum radius
PARENTS PARTICIPATION
There are no discounted tickets for Siblings or Parents.

MAAPP AND SAFE SPORTS CODE INFORMATION
- All policies and procedures contained in the U.S. Ski & Snowboard's Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies ("MAAPP") will be followed at the competition. The MAAPP consists of the following:
- Mandatory SafeSport Training for all adult participants who have regular contact with or authority over minor athletes at an event.
- Mandatory one-on-one abuse prevention policies applicable to all adult participants at all events; and
- Mandatory reporting of known, suspected, or alleged child abuse or other violations of the MAAPP or SafeSport Code

- Lifts open at 9:00 AM
- Training Runs on controlled Race Hill from 9:30 am to 10:45 am
- SG Course Setting -10:45am to 11:45 pm
- Inspection -11:45 to 12::30 pm
- Forerunners 12:45 pm
- SG Race Start 1:00 pm
Saturday- Giant Slalom
- Lifts open at 8:00 am
- Inspection - 8:15 am-9:00 am
- Forerunners 9:20 am
- 1st run starts at 9:30 am
- 2nd Run Course Inspection will take place for approximately 45 mins. after the conclusion of 1st Run
- 2nd Run will start at approximately 1.5 hrs after the conclusion of 1st Run

TEAM SELECTION AND AWARD CRITERIA FOR SELECTION TO PARA STATE TEAM
- The overall champions and state team selection will be decided by the cumulative total of each individual run across all three events using New World Cup points. That will be five total runs, or the total runs held if any runs are canceled due to force majeure. Tie breaks follow the “Inside
/ Out Method”.
STATE TEAMS
- There will be a brief meeting immediately following the awards ceremony for all those selected for the teams and alternates. Please come prepared to make a FIRM decision on attendance at the event you are qualified for.
AWARDS CEREMONY
- AWARDS will be presented on SUNDAY after the race has been completed. They will take place in the summit, outside of the race office.
COURSE CLEAN-UP - ALL ATHLETES are strongly encouraged to help clean up the racecourse and roll B Net after completing the second run.
GRAB AND GO SNACK STATION – Summit Lodge outside race office.
- After the second run and course clean-up, it is available to all athletes and coaches.
- Stop by to refuel with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Stay to cheer on award recipients or grab some treats for the road!
- The awards ceremony will take place once all results are finalized.
