Dear PARA Racer,
Blue Mountain looks forward to hosting this year's state-wide U16 series Finals races. The Super G race on Razors Edge kicks off the first three days of racing. As with the other races in the U16 Series, this race is open to all PARA U16 athletes. Registration for the Super G race is online at https://adminskiracing.com/ and will close at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 2/26/24.
This race is one race of the SIX-race U16 series.
ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. NO IN-PERSON REGISTRATION. NO LATE REGISTRATION.
Athletes may arrive at Summit or Valley. All Blue Mountain lodges are open. Team Captains will receive their respective teams’ bibs, and RFID lift passes at Valley during the Team Captains Meeting on snow near the base of the Comet Quad lift.
MANDATORY USSA Equipment Specs for U16
SG: 183cm minimum length, 30m minimum radius. Equipment will be checked.
REGULATION HELMETS are mandatory for all races

EVENT CHECK-IN
No event check-in will occur for any U16 Series Finals Races at Blue Mountain. Lift tickets (if purchased) will be distributed to coaches each morning.
ENTRY FEE = $75.00 The entry fee covers each competitor’s race registration only.
A 1-day lift ticket can be purchased as an Addon from Admin Skiracing (for racers only $75.00)
LIFT TICKETS
Spectator lift tickets may be purchased at www.shopskibluemt.com. Purchase early for the best rates.
For safety reasons, Blue Mountain does not permit walking to the race venue. Spectators must ski or snowboard to racehill.
RACE BIBS
Bibs will be assigned for all three days of the U16 Finals races. The athlete will keep that bib.
PARENT PARTICIPATION- Volunteering
It is requested for each racer to have a parent or friend assist with officiating or gate judging at least one of the three days. Volunteer sign-up sheets are available online at: https://www.timetosignup.com/bluemtracing/.
SPECTATORS
For safety reasons, Blue Mountain requests that those walking to the race venue request a walking pass from Skier Services. Spectators are encouraged to ski or snowboard to racehill. NO spectators are allowed on the race venue (Razor’s Edge) , the race trail. Spectators may observe from the Challenge trail, the service trail from Dreamweaver, or the connector just above “The Falls.” For safety reasons, all spectators MUST remain at least 7 ft behind the b-netting. We recommend that spectators observe from the finish area.
COACHES LIFT TICKETS
All coaches supporting athletes at the U16 Finals MUST register online at www.adminskiracing.com. Please note for each day that you will be in attendance. Lift tickets will be provided for registered coaches and at bib distribution each morning at the base of the Comet Quad lift.
COACH'S MEETING
Thursday, February 29, 2024 @ 8:00 pm via Zoom. A web link will be provided to registered coaches. There will be a brief COACHES update each day of the U16 Finals at the Comet Quad Lift before inspection.
